He should go to prison. No way in hell he should be there 26 years. I don't the right amount of time. Years. But not two and half decades.
Amber Guyger got 10 years. That seems about right. Give Ruggs a decade.

It differs state to state, in Cali, I think he could get max 10, but in Texas here, it’s 20 years, it all comes down to Nevada law, past precedents, and restitution paid I assume

You can get 25 years for trafficking drugs, I think that’s a minimum amount for killing someone due to your stupidity. If he was driving the speed limit and an accident just happened to occur and he had a little too much to drink then yea that would be an extreme sentence.
But he was over double the legal alcohol limit going 156 in a 45. That’s being plain stupid
