If game gets out of control, do you start Macon in 2nd half?

Honestly, sometimes another guy can come in and the whole emotion of team changes.
Drink needs a QB who can be mobile, to really run his offense.
So do you?

Nope bc Macon should start. Gone lose by a lot regardless, give CB rest since he obviously needs it, give Macon a start.

No he shouldn't. Sure the kid can run but he doesn't anywhere near a college passing game.

You want to start a green, unproven freshman against one of the best defenses in college football in the past few years?
Naw, fam.

A QB pushed out too soon can get wrecked by failure and getting pounded. Look through the last 20 years of the NFL QB's like David Carr were pounded into submission. We are going to gete skullfricked why throw the new guy to the wolves. If CB cannot go I would run out Cook. If CB can go, he should.

He's perfect for garbage time - ie - the entire second half when Georgia plays their back-ups.
He needs reps. Drinkwitz is doing a diservice to the team if you don't give them to him AND Brady as well.

So let me get this right.
You would rather score 0, not let CB rest his injured leg, and lower our chances for wins against the remaining 3 teams
vs
score 0, let CB rest, let Macon go out there in a game where the outcome didnt matter because its a meaningless game.

I don't care what their record is the rest of the season. It's a lost year. Bazelak plays and is the sacrificial lamb. When Georgia puts in backups in the 3rd quarter, it's time to give the young guys snaps.

6 wins is very much in the picture. Until its not, its not a lost year.

Brady will go in first. IF CB can't start Brady will get most of the snaps and he should.

why should he? Honest question.

Bc Brady can actually throw the ball and better manage the game at the college level, Macon cannot.......yet.

Probably will have to because of injuries to our backfield. These Bulldogs will be feasting on Tiger blood this Saturday !!!

If CB is hurt, a rotation of Brady and Tyler would be ideal. Mainly for the benefit of neither one of them thinking they are the third string guy. We need to keep both of them from the transfer portal as long as possible. Neither one of them is going to beat georgia's D, but the experience will be priceless.

Totally works for me. My point is that I wouldn't play CB if he was anything less than 100%

Bazelak is already injured. Not sure playing him against the best defense in the country is a great idea. I'm thinking this is a great opportunity to put a freshman in the pressure cooker and see how they react. Does the adversity make them quit or double down?

Drink's words after the Vandy game spoke volumes: he played Macon because his skill set were better for what he want to do at the time (run). If had needed to throw Cook would have entered the game. That tells me Macon still isn't well versed enough in the playbook to run the entire offense.
Given this, versus Georgia isn't where I want him to get his first start.

Yeah Carr is the perfect example. The dude had talent much like his brother. Problem is he got absolutly beat to shite. Hell his first year he got sacked like almost 80 times an NFL record. Putting a guy in to get the shite beat out of them is not the same as putting them in to get game experience. Getting him in vs the UGA backups though makes a lot of sense even if CB is healthy.
