Yeah, this year is already shot for recruiting but he can still save the 2023 class. And revamping the staff should take 2 years.
2022 - New assistants means new schemes.
2023 - Perfecting the schemes and evaluations at season’s end.
2024 - Dan saves his job or we have a new head coach.

I agree with this timetable.

Mullen's has next season to have this team turned around or he will be gone imo. 5 years is plenty of time to have had things squared away with your own recruited players. If he is 1-4 against Georgia next season and loses a couple of others that should be it. Not acceptable at UF with Georgia recruiting how they are and getting the benefit of a much easier SEC East schedule.
Kirby Smart will be 11-1+ pre-SECCG 4 of the last 5 years which shows you can't have recruiting where it is at with Florida right now.

In my humble opinion, I don’t think UF can wait that long. You’re just allowing UGA to continue to grow. That could be 16 years since your last SEC title if he doesn’t figure it out.
But on the flip side, UGA had that ten year gap with Richt and turned things around pretty fast with Smart.
