All Pruitt's lawyers have got to do is put Fulmer or a booster on the stand and Tenn pays.

Just like the NCAA with Jackie Sherrill. Jackie's lawyers were going expose Ole Miss boosters wife sleeping with NCAA investigator and other facts so they settled quick. Tennessee will do the same.
Tennessee can't risk having Fulmer on the stand spilling the goods on what really happened.
Pruitt should ask for 100 million.

Scintillating analysis

Is it one of those special stands that magically makes Fulmer tell the truth? No? Then he'll probably lie through his teeth like he always does.

I thought Kentucky disliked Tennessee but this guy makes 4-5 Tennessee threads a day.

A good lawyer can always win over a dirty liar. If he takes the 5th it is the same as being guilty. Fulmer is the kind of person to pay of jurors like John Gotti did.

…aaaaaand this PR nightmare is exactly why LSU paid Ed his buyout…and smartly so.
No one wins when the legal pissing matches start.

first time I've upvoted you
yes, and the Terry Bowden at Auburn angle of walking into a pit of vipers needs to be bandied about in print media, because it applies
yes, Pruitt should ask for moderate punitive damages, for himself and mostly for the nine young staffers who were fired
Donde is an idiot

That was the same little turd ( Rich J ) that cost the NCAA a 7 figure settlement after Dr. Jones with the University of Alabama sued them over slander....

What suit will Jermy bring that would even get to the point of a trial?
He can't bring it up on wrongful termination after his lawyer publicly admitted he committed NCAA violations yesterday.
And on the flipside, Jermy's got dirt on UGA, FSU, and Bama. Those schools probably don't want to see Jermy on the stand either.

Jeremy has dirt on your program also skooter.....

I don't think he has anything to go off of in a suit, and seriously doubt he has any kind of paper trail that can implicate UT any further than he already has.
That being said, when you back someone into a corner there is no telling what they will do. I wouldn't hate them just paying the man something to get him to shut up so other programs can't use it to negatively recruit any more than they already are with the NCAA stuff.

Dont act like your program is all clean.....Your old buddy tennstud cost you Keith McCants back in the 90's because he was playing footsies with him and also stud admitted buying drinks for UT players at bars thru other people. Im sure Pruitt knows a few secrets of the dealing in obknoxville.

They dont want full discovery. Should have just paid him and moved on. Poors.

It's not going to make discovery. A wrongful termination suit gets tossed immediately when UT's lawyers show the judge Jeremy's lawyer publicly admitting his client committed acts in breach of his contract.

No, its not that simple chief.
Posted on 10/20/21 at 2:46 pm to lewis and herschel
Tell me how it's not that simple then
go ahead
go ahead

If Jeremy can prove that it is institutional then it will absolutely go to discovery. Why they hell do you think LSU is smart enough to pay Ed O his whole buyout? To avoid a mess like this
