Dude, the Tennessee media just dropped the entire thing and didn't ask any further questions on it. As of Sept, the only stories anyone could find on the entire matter were still from last January
Maybe you think that's journalism
The media has released the publicly available letters exchanged between the parties. They can only report what they know bud. Neither side has provided any details. Pruitt 100% knows what was discussed between he and the NCAA for 7 hours. Transcripts of that meeting, which is part of an ongoing investigation isn't something the media can get through an FOIA request.
quote:
I know you looked at my links, because you changed your story from yesterday to "he's never denied anything" to "he was only ready to defend allegations"
No, I didn't change my story. My story has always been he hasn't denied the allegations because he hasn't. You thought you had a "gotcha" moment because his attorney said Pruitt will defend himself against the allegations as if that somehow refutes what I said. It didn't, but I thought it prudent to address because you brought it up thinking it meant something more than it did.
quote:
oops, except Kansas did the same thing and Jeremy's same lawyer now, got vindication for David Beaty at Kansas only a week ago.
KU self-reported that Beaty had an assistant commit a level II violation and that Beaty committed a level II violation by not properly monitoring the assistant. The NCAA then issued an NOA with the same allegations. Beaty argued it should have been a level III and not a level II. The IARP ultimately decided to withdraw Beaty's violation but not the assistant coach's.
UT has stated Pruitt committed multiple Level I and Level II violations over impermissible benefits, among other things, and that he was aware of it.
Further, the AD, Jeff Long, who fired Beaty was also fired. The person who fired Pruitt also fired the AD, Phillip Fulmer. It's a different situation here.

Nope. They can easily report that they are asking for further information and that their questions are not being answered.
In case you were wondering, that actually how journalism works.

it absolutely refutes what you said
you didn't go back and edit it did you?

on top of everything, the UT president Donde whatshername engaged in provocative character-attacking language.
Why would she do that?
If the facts were on her side, she could just say "We have parted ways with Coach Pruitt for cause, and he will not be receiving his buyout. Thank you very much."
But instead, she had to drag his character through the mud by using phrases such as "shocking" and whatever adjectives I can't remember that she used.
What he did was "shocking"? Okay, what was it? Oh, wait, you don't want to say.
It intentionally leaves things hanging in the air on Pruitt's character, purposefully without details, and I hope he gets a nice package of punitive damages from it for himself and the others fired.

Soon there will be a staff position in every SEC athletic department that is only responsible for the cost analysis of Salary Buyout vs NCAA Sanctions

If the fans didn't protested the hiring of Shciano none of this would've happened! Also he probably would still be the HC!

Edit what? My original post after you posted the articles? No, I didn’t
I said he has never denied the allegations. You said he did and posted those articles in support of that statement. Those articles don’t have anything that say he’s denied the allegations.

links say he will defend against the allegations
smart language because there could possibly be things from staffers that he doesn't know about
we've already had this discussion - you'll probably force me to say it again on page 17

You’ve been s broken record for a year. I wouldn’t expect any different. Call me when Pruitt is cleared of any wrong doing and is paid 12 million dollars m. TBH, I hope he files a lawsuit at this point and stop posturing in the media

Yep!
Let Tennessee's lawyers get that inbred Alabama bastard on the stand under oath.
We'll expose his cheating since he left Hoover High.
Tennessee might go down, but FSU, UGA, and Bama are going with us.
The NCAA won't be able to ignore sworn testimony, under oath, in a court of law.
Tennessee hasn't spent $900,000 on lawyers and private investigators to go down by ourselves.
