inning one game in one season doesn't make Clemson sustainable or on a level with LSU, and most certainly with Alabama. Don't get me started on the ridiculous easy path Clemson has to the playoff every year. Clemson had a few good years, but you're getting way ahead of yourself. Clemson is going to fade away, and likely already is. Alabama and LSU aren't going anywhere, and the SEC has only just begun running college football. It's about to get worse for the rest of you.

WHen FSU was dominant, Clemson had one of the hardest paths to title games and playoffs. We are in the same division. Nobody gave us an excuse then.

I think Alabama is more likely fade away than Clemson is, post Saban.

SEC has basically formed a monopoly because they fear a 12 team playoff will level the playing field.

well, because Clemson sucked

by however you want to measure it, Alabama has won more national titles than any team since the Ivy league ruled rugby style football in the 1800s. Speaking of the 1800s, Alabama has won more games since 1895 than any team in the nation, even excluding the 30 victories on the field that the ncaa decided should be vacated or forfeited.

CLICK ME!!!!

edit to note the point since you aren't the brightest bulb in the chandelier: Alabama will still be winning games and titles when Clemson is yet again a footnote in the annals of college football.

When FSU was dominant they had the same easy conference path Clemson has now, because the ACC is shite and always has been.

Nothing, and I mean nothing backs up this claim. You're pulling it out of your arse. Alabama always has been and always will be one of the big boys of college football. Clemson is a pretender and will gone before we know it.

The SEC would love to have a 12 team playoff. That would welcome many of the dominant programs in our conference into the playoffs and would all but ensure an SEC national champion.

You're an idiot.

No doubt. When FSU was dominate that was a tough division. And nobody ever talked about Clemson because they were a second or third floor doormat. FSU has not been good for a while.

FSU was the only good team for a bit there. That division has always been a "1 and the rest"

You guys are already fading away now.

Sure. Because the SEC has a rough go of those earlier playoff games.
