That will make three 11 am kickoffs in a row, with the potential of UAPB being early as well.

This team better get comfortable playing early.

That sucks, and it’s a coup for Auburn.

Make it a 6pm game and the crowd would be as oiled up as they were for Texas. Instead their coffee will just be kicking in.

Vandy at South Carolina? Nobody wants to watch that shite.

Arkansas will be stuck with early games the rest of the year.

Arkansas and Auburn have the two toughest schedules and get punished with early times.

1st choice is CBS, the next is ESPN.. believe it or not, this is considered the 2nd best choice of each day.

frick these early morning games. Football isn’t meant to be played before 2:30.

Correct. It screws up the day except Georgia fans Saturday. It is why it is imperative to keep the momentum going and if we lose to Ole Miss then that could hurt attendance against Auburn.

As bad as this team has been before this season, 11am kick offs should feel normal and actually be an advantage.

I’ve never understood this thinking. I can get just as lit for an 11 game as I can for a night game.

Georgia is in the eastern Time Zone. That extra hour and a noon kickoff makes a lot of difference in how lubed up you can get before the game.

These start times just kill tailgating. Nobody wants to be smoking and drinking at 7 am after a rowdy Friday night where you probably only got 4 hours of sleep.

It also really hurts recruiting. Most HS kids who play a game on Friday night that don't live close by often can barely get to campus earlier than kickoff. If they have to catch a flight, it's almost impossible, unless they hit a Friday redeye after their game.

It just kills interaction they have can have with the staff and players on the visits.

While the early kickoffs suck arse, we will have been on CBS/ESPN FIVE TIMES this season after the Auburn game. Nice recruiting tool.

EDIT: And we guaranteed will be on CBS to play Missouri, so that means at a minimum we will have played on ESPN/CBS for half of our games this season.

I think the espn primetime SEC night game slot with McIlroy and Joe Tessitore on the call has kind of become a bigger game than the 2:30 CBS game. Sec games are just better in the late evening/night slot.

Noon/11 am games feel way too Big 10-ish.
