From an AU board...a nice rant

O.K. ATLtigerfan, first of all, I am not denouncing all things Auburn, just the ones that don't work. I think my anger is justified. I believe we have a better football team than LSU. I believe we should have won that game. Look, it's one thing to play a great game and lose to a better opponent, but we played a mediocre game at best and lost to an equal or lessor opponent. I think most of my frustration comes from the fact that our Tigers seem to continue to struggle terribly on offense and have for a long time now. With the talent we have, we should be better on offense. Secondly, I agree that there are better ways to voice opinion and dissent. I let my anger get the best of me. I will do better in the future. My goal was not to "incite and rile the lower minded" as you put it. By the way, who do you consider "lower minded"? Maybe someone who uses words that do not exist. I have ZERO TOLERANCE (not toleration) for those folks.

If you can't admit that Auburn lost to a better team, then you are a bigger dumbass than you appear to be....look at the stats of the game...and next time, actually watch the game to see how it develops before you spout off....barner!

better team? LSU is better (in some places alot better) than Auburn everywhere except maybe LB or safety if we played this game a few weeks from now with a more experienced QB for LSU it wouldn't be close IMO

I would say that 98% of AU fans disagree that LSU is a less talented team.

I don't know about that. The ones I know were consoling themselves last night that it was because of trick plays and luck.
Haven't heard from them today since all the stats came out though. lol

AU is a very talented team on defense and some nice skill players
But overall, LSU is more talented. Depth wise, If LSU can get the kind of QB Like Lee did in the 2nd half of this game, then that gap opens pretty wide IMO...we probably win something like 34-17...we gifted them 7 in this game take that out and it's 26 14...
Solid win against a pretty good AU team with a struggling new offense, come years end, they maybe really really good.. Shall see

LSU is a better football team than we are, end of story. They were better coached as well. Now does that mean I think we suck? No, we have a good team, we just weren't good enough saturday night.

I watched the game with a number of USC Trojan fans. The consensus in the room was LSU had the better talent.

No doubt, the vast majority of the time when we lose it is because we are the lesser team. But this is one guy's rant - I virtually guarantee you that you can find numerous posts on the Tiger Rant after EVERY LSU loss exactly like this
