Utah and Stanford 114 and 115. It looks like they made a mistake with there spreedsheet.
Erik Tolman is listed as an Arizona State commit on perfect game. I am fairly confident that is new.
It is inevitable for LSU to lose recruits to mid majors in baseball. Example: LSU offers player 50% scholarship as they have 11.7 for their roster. Mid major takes chance and offers same player 100% scholarship and puts all eggs in basket to get this type of player. Player and family evaluate options: Free or $20,000 a year? Boy we love LSU but free sounds great. Different strategies for Schools depending on your school. UCLA's strategy is they basically give out the 11.7 in approximate 50 percent portions have a smaller roster and they sell the education as the cost for in state students would be about 15,000 grand a year with 50 percent scholly. They get Walk ons after that.
Are you talking about best former lsu player in mlb? I would say Albert would be up there. Albert was a great player n I mean great but Ben was in a class by himself. Unfortunately he was damaged goods by the time he got to pro baseball. There was no question who the number 1 player in the country was in that era.

I don't know his background or record of picking games but I always enjoy his comments. He seems very insightful with really good takes on personnel strengths and weaknesses as well as match ups that are of high importance. It does not bother me that he picks against the Tigers. If he is a so called expert then I would be concerned if he did not pick against them. Ole piss was the favorite. Alabama will be favored and if you gave me the chance to pick the winner in two weeks for 1 million bucks I would pick Alabama but I like our chances after the improvements the last few weeks.
Don't know but his dad was an absolute beast 12-14 years old. Turned out to be a very good college baseball player at SLU.

Yes sir witnessed it from the batters box.

Ben McDonald.

Didn't he throw around 100 mph?

HE GONE. AGAIN. OR NOT. WAIT - IT'S HAPPENING!!!! I THINK . . .
D1. Check
Professional check
Coached check
Scouted check

I assume the question arises due to the poor offense and comments surrounding people being frustrated. I was talking to a college coach yesterday and I was telling him how much I hated the bats and he was telling me how much he loved them as it equalized his ability to competed against the premier programs. This is obviously old news and in my opinion why don't we have everyone play whiffle ball to give all a chance and reward mediocre talent and play. It is like putting PGA players on the gooney golf tour. Heck I may have a chance to win an event
You do realize it is directly related to amount of revenues generated etc. football 45 players 16 games vs baseball 25 players 162 games

I would say Russ Johnson has been reincarnated but he is alive and kickin in Denham Springs? As hard nose of a player as you will see anywhere!
This kid looks to be a special player!
In the normal world of baseball pitchers are taught to pitch to contact and get ground balls to limit pitch count etc. With the state of the bats, balls etc. We need to teach hitting grounds balls so that hopefully some can get through or put pressure on the defense to make mistakes. I can understand this if you are utilizing the hit and run or run and hit or bunting etc. but this is really out of whack. I also realize that when hitters get skewed toward either in the air or beating the ball in the ground you try to move them back toward the best option of line drives by asking them to do the opposite. Hopefully the new balls will make a difference??? Does anyone know if high schools are going to the lower seam ball?

Pound for Pound I don't think I have ever seen a tougher more determined player than Glenn Glass. Too bad he was something like 5'6" 155 pounds or so.

The video is from 2007 in high school. He has matured physically quite a bit from that video. I was told by a well respected Junior College coach who has had numerous players play D1 and in the NFL that he is an extremely athletic and talented young man.

Whatever you say Dalton.

I wish I was still a College athlete.

New Punter

This kid is an exceptional athlete. Believe it or not has the physical tools to play a number of postion's at the D1 level. And no I am not related nor have any special interest in him. May also play Quarterback or Wide receiver at Moorpark.

Maybe he'll also throw out the 1st pitch. I wonder if he can hit 80 now.

Yeah but he won't be able to throw for a week.

Long time friend and faced him on a number of occasions. He was plain nasty! During a night game at LSU (terrible lighting) he threw the first picth to me that registered 100 on the LSU gun. I literally heard it go by me. I immediately went into contact mode.
Easton-actually have a friend that named his son this. LSU's official bat

What is your friends name???
Yeah they probably have a couple of guys every year who could compete at LSU. But they are not taking a JUCO unless they have an area where they need immediate help and LSUE would need to have that guy that year. Don't feel bad their best guys get drafted or go to other good baseball schools.
