8 fricking penalties.

EIGHT.

And there’s 5 minutes left in the first half.

Guess the “3 hour” speech didn’t cover how to line up, block people and snap counts.

Dude, you melt worse than a frozen yogurt in the Lut desert.

every. Single. Week... there is something that turns you into a fluid mess.

But Why? does it give you some kind of release...

Find another release valve. Dang!

24-0 with 3 first downs and 8 penalties in 1 half.

My bad.

Wait forgot the missed FG, dropped kickoff and blocked punt TD.

Not Pittmans fault

Just finding every way to suck, pisses me off. It should be 14-3.

I get it, but just don't understand the absolute melts both here and in the game thread.

It is our 2nd year with Pittman and to come from where we were to this is a great climb up.

Dude, perspective for 1 thing. There was no real way we were going to compete against that talent differential.

Keep making excuses.

Talent has nothing to do with how bad we’ve sucked.

These guys make millions of dollars.

unbelievably stupid penalties.

We all knew this game was coming. We got away with a lot of boneheaded mistakes against lesser competition and we got in some bad habits. Georgia is going to make us pay for it.

Typical Arkansas trifecta

We look unprepared

Refs fricking us on two bs PI calls that led to points

We are not nearly as talented

The first two can't happen when the third is obvious

Eh first PI was legit

But yes we’ve been sloppy. It’s been an issue all year long, we’ve just managed to win despite it

Burks should have gotten a PI on the first drive. LB clearly hit him before the ball got there.

I actually think between the opening drive, the crowd noise, and the fact that we were 18 point underdogs basically caused our flub of a performance today.

As a player, you see that the other team is favored by almost 3 TDs and that's hard to shake by itself; not to mention that you're going against the #2 team on the road. You already walk into that game intimidated and thinking you stand almost no chance, even if you don't show it on the outside.

Then the other team marches out and drives it down the field with relative ease on their first drive. You can't seem to stop them no matter what you do, and they score. The crowd is raucous.

You get your chance with the ball and immediately shoot yourself in the foot twice because of the crazy loud environment. You end up with negative yardage and punt.

The game was over at that point. The crowd realized they could rattle us by being loud, and more importantly our guys got in their minds that the pundits were right - they can't win. The rest of the game is a result of basically giving up.

I don't know what you do as a coach in this situation to pick your guys back up and get back on track next week, but I believe Pittman & Co. can do it. Ole Miss is looking like a winnable game and so is everyone else on our schedule outside of Bama, we just have to shake this loss off and get back to business. 9-10 wins is still in the cards if we can get back to how we started.

I'm not upset about this game and I'm not reading anything into it other than we simply aren't at their level yet, I'm only reading into how we RESPOND after today.
