I’m not saying I would bet it at 28.. but anything under 10 is a good bet for Texas. This game will come down to turnovers. If Texas takes care of the ball, it won’t be close. If Arkansas can end up +2 or more, then Arkansas has a chance to win.
The crowd will be juiced early and late if it is close..
That being said, Jefferson can’t throw the ball. Texas needs to load the box and dare him to throw.. if he takes that bait, the game will get ugly fast.

They were better than I thought they would be.. but you are right, they aren’t a great team. My confidence in Texas this week comes down to this:
1) Texas was better coached last week than I have seen in a long time. They won all 3 phases of the game.
2) Jefferson is not a good QB. He is a lesser version of Tyrone Swoopes.
3) The Texas defense will give up some rushing yards, especially early, but they will force 2 or more turnovers once Arkansas starts throwing the ball.
4) Special Teams - Texas scores on a punt or kickoff this week, maybe twice.

PK hasn’t given up 35+ points in one game since 2014. I suspect it might happen this year, but it won’t be in this game, unless Texas has a boatload of turnovers or special teams mistakes.
I would be surprised if Texas only scored 24 as well.. Not sure how you get to those numbers, but good luck boomer!
