Stayed home for this hurricane. Live couple of miles south from Orgeron’s mom. Freaking unbelievable this aftermath. Guy living on side of me is a Vietnam vet. He said this is worse than being in Vietnam. No power no water basically no services at all. Now 90% of you are saying I thought that is how it is in southern Louisiana anyway? lol
Years ago when LSU-UCLA was announced my wife and I were excited to see the Rose Bowl. She passed away four years ago and I’m thinking she said the hell if you think you are going to The Rose Bowl without me!!! lol I’m not going too much devastation around here and too much work to be done on the house.
Best of luck to everyone in their games this weekend!!!

Well that got my hopes up briefly. Understandable, considering the circumstances though. Sorry for your loss but glad you made it through the storm. Be thinking of her while you're watching the Tigers on Saturday!
Keep your head up, my man. You all are a strong and resilient bunch down there on the bayou.

Why didn’t you evacuate?

How did Mrs. Orgeron's house fair? I know, per Ed O, she was in Beaumont, TX when the hurricane was passing through the area.

God Bless You LC.
And you’re wife.
The things we take for granted every day can be wiped out in minutes.
Sorry about your wife

Considering the Army sent infantry guys going to Vietnam to Louisiana to train I believe him.

Glad you're ok though.

Mine was drafted as well and sent to Fort Polk for Jungle School. Tigerland. Wound up a Sgt. with the 101st Airborne Inf. in Vietnam.

I'm really sorry for all the storm damage you're having to deal with. Awful. I'm sorry you can't make it here for the UCLA game, too; however, it's nothing compared with the need you have to get things in order where you live. God bless you and wish you a speedy recovery.
LSU should beat UCLA handily.
