Dad was 101st Airborne Inf. in Vietnam as well. I know this because the Eagle patch on his uniform. Wonder if they knew each other? I'd ask but he never really speaks about it . Only know a lot about it because he has pictures of him in the jungles there with American and Vietnamese soldiers.

The Eagle patch is a dead gave away. They may have depending on the year. I think the 101st was one of those divisions that was there when it started and one of the last out when it ended.

Both yesterday and today I had people hurt themselves cleaning up their homes. Both showed up at my home for treatment. Few stitches and they went back after it. Think mobile hospital ER will be operational tomorrow at the Walmart parking lot.
Why didn’t you evacuate?
Not so much a death wish but after my wife passed away I do have more of a frick it mentality.
