1. Auburn will not go undefeated
2. No, we will not be left out...my feelings it would be the Big 12.

The sportswriters and coaches know how strong the SEC is. And USC has all sportswriters and coaches wrapped around their fingers

Someone would have to be left out. Oklahoma can't win a bowl game anyway. It would be a waste to put them in. I think the voters know this. They're the second worst thing next to OSU in the big game.

SEC champ is tied for 1st or 2nd best record at the end, they're in the game.

they had that same question on ESPN the other day and the guy said that if it was between those two and an undefeated SEC team, the SEC team would be in.

Yep ... said OU lost their last two bowl games and that any undefeated SEC team would go over an undefeated OU team.

Believe Trevor Matich made the statement that an undefeated SEC team would get it before an undefeated Big XII team.

Well let's see.....USC was screwed in 2003 (2004 NC game).....Auburn was screwed in 2004 (2005 NC game)...I would think it would be Oklahoma's turn to get screwed this time..... just sayin'

If Auburn got left out AGAIN after going undefeated, once again thanks to USC/Oklahoma, well, I'd probably go insane.

I think it depends on who the undefeated team played in the SECCG. If the undefeated team was UGA (just saying, highest ranked SEC team right now, I don't think they'll go undefeated), and they played a #15-#20 ranked West team, which would likely mean the team would have 2 losses, I think they'd put OU in.

Of course OU will have to play Missouri most likely in the B12CG, so penciling them now, as all the media seems to be doing, is stupid.

If the SEC champ is undefeated and is at least no. 3 in the polls, but no. 1 in the computers, and the no. 2 team in the polls is lower than no. 3 poll team in the computers, the SEC team would probably get the BCSCG. But it will depend on how close the points are in the human polls and where each of the top 3 poll teams rank in the computers. An undefeated champ in the SEC would have to rank pretty much no. 1 in computers, I would think if the other SEC teams continue to rank high as well.

In 2004, Auburn didn't have have a high enough computer ranking to squeeze past OU.

Nope USC left out once again if this plays out. OK and LSU, or UGA, FLA would have played way more ranked teams. PLus the conference champ game always helps see 2003. Bad thing is they will want to share the title, USC that is.
