I’ve wondered the same thing. I think he sat out of practice a Covid period because of no vax. Now according to Coach Saban he is “trying to catch up” and “he knows what he has to do.” If he made this no vax choice, then caught Covid, it is incredibly foolish for his standing on the team.
A half billion people have been vax and no one had grown horns. But a LOT of people have seemingly irreversible damage to heart, lungs, brain from contracting severe Covid.
I cannot understand the anti/vax point. And for the team, when 99 have the vax and you are the only one not? And you put the rest of the team in masks and at risk because? Maybe you should just move on…

If getting specifically called out by Saban to the media on more than one occasion won't get through to him, I'm not sure what would.

How many of those were in their early 20’s in peak physical condition.
