Going to be hilarious when LSU gets sued by an unvaxxed person with a negative test catching Covid from a vaxxed person at an LSU game. Brilliant move to jump into the realm of acting like you are providing a safe environment instead of just telling people that they can come at their own risk. I can see some trial lawyers already getting their ads together now for the boon to come.

Yeah, it'll be funny when the judge tosses the case.

People have been saying this since COVID started, that lawsuits were going to be rampant for businesses' liability as it pertains to COVID. The big problem is causation. It would be impossible to prove where someone contracted COVID, which is why these lawsuits aren't happening and/or have been unsuccesful

And how would you prove that the exact moment you caught COVID was in Tiger Stadium from a fully vaxxed person?

Such a claim would never survive summary judgement.

US 7th Circuit ruled 3-0 in favor of Indiana University COVID-19 mandates. The 3 Justices were all Strict Conservative Juris, 1 a Reagan appointee and 2 Trump appointees. SCOTUS Associate Justice Barrett, another Trump appointee denied the appeal of the IU students thus it was not deemed necessary for the SCOTUS to hear the appeal. The 7th Circuit ruling cited legal precedent from a 1905 case where SCOTUS ruled in favor of the State of Massachusetts vs. a group of MA residents to mandate the small pox vaccine.

If Trial lawyers try this they are very bad lawyers as the Federal Courts have already ruled that States have under the 10th amendment powers of having local policing powers to issue health mandates.

I am an LSU season ticket holder and I am, after consultation with my Doctor, vaccinated. Still undecided if I will go to LSU home games early on, first 2 games. Likely wait and see how things here shake out and plan on going to the LSU/Auburn game first week in October and show my vaccine proof to enter.

People who don't agree with LSU's Regulations, that is their right and business, an stay home and watch it on TV.

How do they prove they contracted COVID at an LSU game and not in the following days?
