Intel says neither guy can take the job. That denotes a problem. Casey Thompson turned the ball over multiple times in your scrimmage, like 3 or 4. Hudson Card couldn't do anything to separate himself even with a 9 car pileup going on. Intel says the shorthorns offense had 6 drives before they could get a first down.

Having 2 QBs taking 50% of the reps because they can't distinguish themselves isn't a luxury, it's an ongoing mess.

Texas hasn't had an above average offensive line since 2005. Sark desperately needs to rectify this. So far, it isn't happening in recruiting. It is depressing that we couldn't get any quality o-linemen to transfer in to the program.

Card is the solution at QB, but he will suck arse with this joke o-line. Colt McCoy was able to overcome a bad o-line, and Card isn't Colt. Texas will have 8 wins this year. It will be another disappointment. There seems to be no end in site to this cycle of suck on our offensive line.

I was actually really unhappy Sarkisian was telling the truth about how bad the offenses situation was. All his predecessors pumped sunshine instead of facing the reality of how bad they were.

He might actually fix some of there problems.

I’m a realist and Texas will start making big strides quickly. Recruiting will make a big jump
and they will return to powerhouse status soon.

Pretty rare that a QB battle in the fall is a good thing. Not saying it’s NOT a good thing, but it’s pretty rare. I’m sceptical.

Disagree. They have fundamental issues that only a handful of coaches can fix, and Sark isn’t that guy. Talent is not the reason they are losing to TCU and Iowa St. until they kick a few cooks out of the kitchen, they’ll continue to get the results of the last 10 years.

lol. Mac Jones was't named the starter for Bama until September of last year vs. a true freshman.

Sark gets a break this year. The real question is if he duplicate his success withtout Saban recruited athletes. He is a great game planner, and the best playcaller I have seen in T-town. But recruiting is half the job, and we'll see how he does in year 2 with some of his recruits

This is a reasonable take

We've had several good offensive lines since then. Mack's last year had one that dragged case to the de facto conference championship game VS Baylor due to tiebreakers.

Herman's 2018 line was even better than that. Pushed Georgias shite in, that's for sure.

Arkansas gonna shove their shite in a week after The Ragin' Cajuns do. How are they going to win 8 games? Against WHO?

More like 3 or 4 wins.

Now there’s a ban bet I’ll happily go in on with you. Texas O/U 4.5 wins?
