You do realize most top tier teams don’t have a new coach? You do realize most top tier teams didn’t hire a coach from Idaho? You do realize this was kind of expected in his first year? You do realize we will close with more recruits and move up the rankings?

Obviously we are not in the SEC yet, but it seems to me, from an outsider perspective, that Auburn is to Alabama as Oklahoma State is to OU. You go to Auburn if you don’t get an Alabama offer, or Auburn pays a bunch of cash and offers your brother a scholarship also. Historically in recruiting new coaches get a recruiting bump because of the excitement. It appears the excitement with Auburns new coach is not good. Wish the best for you guys as someone needs to challenge the king, but finishing 20th ain’t gonna do it. Lowly OU is higher than that and we aren’t even in the SEC.

A new coach should bring excitement and hype.
