Lost the bowl game. It would be very tough to make an argument that Arkansas should be the champion. The reason Arkansas lost is because the starting QB got a shoulder injury in the second quarter and didn't return. The offense sputtered with just 7 points.
A better argument would be the 77 team.

Arkansas should claim 1965. If the rules hadn’t been changed for that year only, Arkansas would have been the champs. Alabama is going to claim it either way, but so should Arkansas. Just my opinion..
