The only way to even the pods

Pod 1:LSU, A&M, Arkansas, Mississippi state
Pod 2:Bama, Tennessee, Auburn, Missouri
Pod 3:Georgia, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Vanderbilt
Pod 4:Florida, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Texas
Geographically doesn’t make sense but I feel like this evens them out about as much as it can get

People are trying to figure out how the hell a 16 team conference is going to work without ruining the SEC's oldest rivalries.

Yes I agree. It’s important to keep them together. I hope we just do what we do in basketball and have 3 permanent opponents then do rotations. That basically keeps every rivalry alive.

How is the commonly suggested one not balanced?
1: Texas, OU, Arkansas, Missouri
2: Texas A&M, LSU Ole Miss, Miss State
3: Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vanderbilt
4: Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida
Edit: Beat me to it

That's pretty good
Call our division the "swamp" division

Going off the past 10-20 years
I split up the top 4 SEC programs: LSU, Bama, Georgia, and Florida,
Gave each 2 sub par programs: Auburn, Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi state, Ole Miss, A&m, Kentucky, Tennessee
Then each 1 cupcake: Missouri, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Arkansas
Arrange those 3 categories in any way and I think it evens it out better than going by location

Pods are great if you also are playing permanent games each year.. otherwise it isn’t possible.

One of these is not like the other.

Seriously, we should do a draft. Ignore rivalries unless teams are equal. Just take the best team available.. and see how different it looks

It’s tight between Florida and Auburn

No! Missouri got to have Texas or Georgia or Florida! Again need a major foot prints to recruits! No the other way around!

Why people want pods! Just to prove it isn't going to work! Divisions is best scenario. Go 2 divisions, 4 crossovers and 1 out of conference.

I get that.
But CFB is getting blown up

You put us in a SUPER easy bracket, I like it.

I like that scenario better but if they’re going to do pods then..
