Pods will add yet another game to a contending team's sched that will be further increased by a 12 team playoff. That's a lot of games. I don't find much to agree with Dabo on, but his point on the 12 team playoffs is one of them.

Yes I agree. It’s important to keep them together. I hope we just do what we do in basketball and have 3 permanent opponents then do rotations. That basically keeps every rivalry alive.

Yet you play multiple times during basketball, so easier to set up H/A.
You've got 1 game in football.

How is the commonly suggested one not balanced?

1: Texas, OU, Arkansas, Missouri
2: Texas A&M, LSU Ole Miss, Miss State
3: Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vanderbilt
4: Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida

Edit: Beat me to it

Easy - WHERE is DSOR on here?

Pods are great if you also are playing permanent games each year.. otherwise it isn’t possible.

Hince why they're looked @ more than divisional play.

People are trying to figure out how the hell a 16 team conference is going to work without ruining the SEC's oldest rivalries.

I get that.

But CFB is getting blown up right in front of us now.

I would prefer an SEC schedule that allows every team to play each other as soon as possible.

And if anybody thinks we are afraid of bama….

Put us on the schedule to play twice a year.

We’ve had to do it before.
