I welcome y’all to the best conference you will ever be apart of, and I am glad y’all get to experience it for yourselves. As a former fellow Big 12 member you are in for a pleasant surprise in how well the league is ran and how engaged all the fans are (except maybe Vandy).
I recommend you take the time to learn the history and current day narrative for every SEC fanbase as I have enjoyed getting to know all of them over the last decade. It is rewarding for sure. Every single one has something unique about then, along with a pride that makes you happy to be apart of it all.
Also to Texas fans in particular: thank you for finalizing the takeover of the SEC in our state. Now our children will grow up watching quality football and baseball while engaging in fun online banter. In particular this forum is nothing like the Big 12 has had in a long time, and personally I have grown to really appreciate certain people here.

Only about 3 or 4 are really Texas grads. They will get bored here shortly when we actually talk about football

It's great to be here. Oklahoma has always been one of the greatest programs in college football and it definitely feels like we're once again in a conference that befits us. I can't tell you how excited I am for the regional rivalries and matchups every week.

That's quite humorous because a majority of UK fans never actually went to UK and yet we are some of the most passionate folks you'll come across. That being said, I look forward to friendly rivalries with you all. Don't be afraid to introduce yourself if you ever arrive to Commonwealth Stadium/Kroger Field early and are looking to tailgate. Most of us will be happy to have you and welcome you to get completely effed up on bourbon and cheap beer before the game. We all love college sports in this conference and most of us feel that competition will only make us better as a whole. That being said... we will not respond well to arrogance until it is earned. Just don't be one of those people and you'll fit right in
