I believe you're another simpleton who looks at the population of a state and assumes that population all watch the college team that resides in that state, which is adorable. If that's your level of thinking, you guys should have a hard-on for bringing in Syracuse and USC instead of lowly VA and NC. Gotta get those CA and NY markets baw!

It seems that you are the one doing that with regards to the state of Oklahoma. Does every single person in Oklahoma watch the Sooners? Of course not. There are many more potential eyes to watch games in North Carolina and Virgina. They have a total population of almost 20 million people combined. They are the 9th and 12th most populous states. Oklahoma has fewer than 4 million and ranking 28th. That is fewer than all other SEC footprint states except for Arkansas and Mississippi. There is only one media market in the top 50 for Oklahoma (Oklahoma City at 43rd). North Carolina and Virgina have four that tank higher that OKC. Oklahoma brings very little.
