Seems like most people think this will happen, but I’m not seeing a ton of viable options for these conferences to expand (especially the PAC)

These conferences won’t just add schools for the hell of it, the schools have to add value or why add them? I’m not so sure that is where we are headed with all of this.

We added Missouri just to keep it an even number. It can happen

I think it depends if the numbers work out, are they going to get the same or bigger contract than the SEC? Do the numbers work? Does that matter and you just have to snatch the biggest markets, then right qualifications (like the Big 10 AAU accreditation), it will at least be interesting bc we have the most stability rn, we get to watch the movie

Where we’re headed is a breakaway from the NCAA. 64 schools united in 4 superconferences can tell the NCAA to go to hell. That organization is worthless and a money grabber.

No you didn’t.

You added Missouri because of the way the conference network carriage fees were structured at the time, and we were willing to come.

Because Missouri brings more on the table than most others around the SEC footprints.

I mean, maybe but how does the PAC 12 add Four more teams that make some sense geographically AND financially. They just don’t exist.

Yeah, that’s why the SEC will magically stop at 16. bullshite, these cocksuckers in charge don’t care about anyone but themselves. They don’t care about the students, athletes, fans, alums, etc. They only care about getting more money.

Pac-12 has no good expansion options, but the others have enough to get to 16.

I don't think the PAC can find an out. Their time zone is a detriment on top of lack of options name wise. The rest can expand, and will.

It's so sad when Arkansas and SC pick on us, revealing their own insecurities about being in the SEC.

Yep! It will be a step down for those conferences to any others that are not even close to Oklahoma and Texas. That is the problem. Bring in two more schools that are not in the top 10 in the polls and top 15 in recruiting class every year. That is what wrong with getting the ones that have been left behind or in a lesser conference.

Don't poke the bear. Walmart will create The Sportsman's Paradise if we have to.

Pac 12 presidents are “better than you” progstains

Boise and Brigham Young are non starters for them

This thing is about to get very political

Big 12 is imploding, B1G, PAC & ACC losing prestige, schools like OK State & Kansas (a perennial basketball power and big name from Bob Godam Dole’s neck of the woods) getting left in the dust

Mizzou may well get courted to join the B1G (would they go?)

Kansas probably lands on its feet, K-State? Might be in trouble

Colorado State and Air Force are probably sitting pretty for PAC invites

Things are likely to get very interesting soon

KSt, TTech and the like are super outliers. We're talking join LaTech and Tulsa type of screwed.

Why would Missouri go way out west to be away from the rest of the current schools? No way that will be good. That is why SEC is just right fit with addition of OU and Texas it makes the South Midwestern States just as strong as the Southeastern States.
