I think you are correct, a reporter at DAWGpost said he is hearing from UGA sources that PODS are out. Just watched it.
There is just no way any SEC team would want a pod with UT/OU.

Mizzou would balk, too. LSU or either Mississippi team or Aggy or Arkansas? All hard no's.

Actually Mizzou would love to get the Pinkel-Texas pipeline open again. They got good players from the state back then.

Is that any different than a pod with any 2 of Bama, auburn, uga, Florida, lsu? It’s the SEC. if schools are going to complain about playing good teams there are other conferences that can solve that problem.

This pods works best for all of us. Get two top teams in each pods.
Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas.

A&M, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State.

Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vandy.

Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky.

Arkansas will either agree to the pairing with Texas and Oklahoma or they will be forced to do so as the rest of the conference will pass.

Arkansas just like in the SWC has no say or power in the SEC. That is the bitch of not being a charter member.
