Glad to see this young man’s 2nd Amendment rights upheld
Between this and Arik Gilbert being on track to be eligible this year, week 1 vs Clemson should be very fun

Former Clemson cornerback Derion Kendrick cleared a hurdle on Friday to his playing the Tigers with his new team in the Georgia Bulldogs.
Kendrick had expunged, as expected, gun and marijuana charges incurred this March in his hometown of Rock Hill, per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Per reports, he was charged with unlawful possession of a gun and simple possession of marijuana, but the expungement means they are no longer on any record against him after he completed a pretrial intervention program.

Kirby even controls local law enforcement districts in South Carolina. Sick.

OP says:
Then the story quoted in his very post says:
So, no, he didn't have the charges dropped. He was given the chance to clear his record by successfully completing a diversionary sentence.
That means nobody, including the defendant, said he didn't do it. The court and prosecution said here's your chance to save yoursef, don't frick it up and he didn't. That's good for all involved and, quite frankly, better than getting away with it.

I was under the impression he didn’t even show up at his classes at LSU. I’m sure if he did he would have aced them no problem.
Maybe he just realizes a degree from UGA is actually worth something and is a little more motivated now

Rock Hill is Gamecock country and we want y'all fully loaded to take care of business against Clemson.

Seriously, I think it is a matter of motivation. It's not like LSU is a good academic institution or anything.

I heard that this years Freshmen Class was screwed up at UGA due to the Covid protocol. That many got in only after the University dropped the SAT/ACT requirements and that they normally would not be accepted. Now there are some in GA that want to make that a permanent requirement since they claim racial bias of the test.

I’m shocked that Georgia found a way to get kids eligible. Shocked I tell you

OMG…who didn’t have trouble with Thermo… I’m pretty certain he didn’t sign up for that course…
Most of you probably don’t have a clue what that is…but few football players anywhere take on an Engineering curriculum.. thermodynamics… what a b***ch…

Charges dismissed and expungement are two entirely different things. In most states, you can have your charges dismissed for a variety of reasons, but unless you go through the effort and expense of actually having the charges - and likely a mug shot - removed, there is still a public record of your arrest.

I’m guessing you’re being facetious here - a freshman wouldn’t be able to take thermo until they get their core classes completed. I doubt he tested out of chemistry 1, chemistry 2, physics, etc before starting his freshman year.

Make sure your players have Louisiana’s justice system handle their cases.
