I don't have shite backwards. It doesn't matter which direction you go, it's the same stupid argument that who a coach hires means something when it really doesn't.
Just because they coached under Saban, it doesn't mean they will be good head coaches either. Kirby was a pretty good DC under Saban, do I want him as a HC? Nope. Sark did pretty well as the OC his 2nd time around, would I want him as a HC? Nope.
I get the feeling the quality of his resume will suddenly take on importance to you.

So I guess because Saban hired him as a DC and he did shitty as a HC, it means Saban has poor judgement on his hires?
Holy shite are you a moron? You STILL have it backwards.
The right way would be UT fans saying Saban sucked when the hired Pruitt. Why can’t you get it right?

Which was a lower win % than the guy before him.
The last time he coached a team after Gus, he lowered their win% as well.
The next time he improves a team after becoming the HC will be the first time.

The quality of the resume is always important.
What isn't important is who they were a position coach for previously, or who they hired as position coaches.
That kind of stupid shite is the reason Alabama was fricked for years after Bear. Gotta be someone who coached or player under Bear, blah blah fricking stupid.

Such a dumb comparison but I’m not surprised.
You took a ONE year sample at Arkansas State.
And of course Boise played the same schedule, conference etc. as when Petersen was there, right? Nothing changed in 6-7 years that would affect that?

I’m done beating my head up against a wall trying to convince an Alabama fan that we made a good hire. I’m sure he will be worse than Terry Bowden. Or 5-19 Gene Chizik. Or Tommy Tuberville with his sterling resume before Auburn.

I think he’s going to get demolished. Like Muschamp at SC style.
Yup, Harsin was a horrible hire.

How many coordinators or position coaches under horrible HCs get a shot as an SEC HC?
Using your logic Harsin will be lights out.
If we all go by the OPs logic we would all be walking around smelling like dried piss and Fritos

Peterson is has top 20 winning % all time, Harsin could stop coaching today and he is in the top 40 of winning % alltime.
You sound dumb.

No. I'm pretty sure it's clear that I'm saying just because someone worked for someone else or vice versa, it doesn't really mean shite towards how good they will be at other positions.
You can look at that stuff, but you're an idiot if you think it's all that important. Jeremy Pruitt I will bring up once again as an example. It was apparent before he was hired he wouldn't be a good HC. Yet Tennessee did it anyway and why? For the same stupid reasons you guys keep naming.

@ your Frank Kimmel type excuses pretending a coach who took over one of the best G5 teams, played in an easy G5 conference is equal to others.
Auburn fans are desperate.

You keep using that analogy. Clearly you do not get it.
If Auburn fans were starting threads about Missouri (why would we, why would anyone) and claiming Rachel Maddow was going to be a great coach because she worked for Harsin, you would be on the right track.

Sorry, which years do you want to cherry pick as his resume?

Once again, you are straying so fricking far from the argument we should I put out a silver alert.

Auburn fans are the ones who mention Mizzou's coach in this thread.

Harsin employed drink twice, so did Gus. If we made a bad hire, Mizzou is truly fricked. Your obsession with this subject is a little disturbing. Between that and your poor writing, I truly believe you are smack in the middle of the spectrum...with a touch of downs syndrome
You guys can spin it all you want, but that's the reality.
I'm off to go look at a house, keep the excuses coming.

Holy shite did the cord get wrapped around your neck too? The fricking retard OP is a MISSOURI FAN who has started multiple threads about Bryan Harsin…for some unknown reason.
The point is that Missouri fans are really the one fanbase (aside from maybe Tennessee and USC fans ) who should not be taking shots at our head coaching hire.

What current SEC coaches have former assistants that are also current SEC head coaches?
Saban
Smart
Harsin
But you must be right that Harsin will be the complete polar opposite huh?
