> Minnesota vs Ohio State (-14)
> Tulane vs Oklahoma (-22.5)
> Arkansas (-20) vs Rice
> Alabama (-18) vs Miami
> Texas (-10.5) vs Louisiana-Lafayette
> Missouri (-11.5) vs Central Michigan
> UCLA vs LSU (-4.5)
> Florida State vs Notre Dame (-10)
> Ole Miss (-8) vs Louisville
Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma lines are lower than I figured they'd be.

I think Miami surprises a lot of people. I think we win by 10 with a late pick 6 to seal the game.

Napier has Louisiana as a nice G5 team. They've gotten better and more talented under him. They're going up against a new coach breaking in a new QB and completely new systems. It has upset special written all over it.

Yep - and normally this would be one of those "every talks about it and it doesn't happen" games, but everybody talked about them going in and beating Iowa State last year......and then they went in and beat Iowa State (and kinda shite kicked them, really).
That game opened at -16.5 and has already fallen almost a full TD.

That Iowa State team who finished #9 in the AP poll.

I think UL Laf has a decent chance to win and certainly a good bet to cover. Could see the Horns pulling out a narrow one there.
Rest of those lines look fairly close to what they should be.

Yep. Napier is legit and they have a whole bunch back. Sark has his work cut out for him.

Fla St was a train wreck last year. Notre Dumb is always overhyped but if fla st were to win that would be a surprise.

LSU will beat UCLA by at least 7 points.

I think the LSU/UCLA is very fascinating.
Home game for the Bruins.
Bruins return 19 starters. 9 on offense. 10 on defense.
Experienced, senior, dual threat QB Dorian Thompson Robinson is back.
Bruins defense led Pac 12 in sacks, rushing yards allowed per carry last season.
Bruins also get Hawaii the prior week so will gain some rhythm there.
21 years ago my team, coming off winning the SEC, opened up in LA, favored, ranked high.
Other than a Milons TD punt return, it was an embarrassment. As was the season, leading to Dubose being fired.
Difference is, after last year shitting the bed opening wk vs State, you gotta think LSU will be better prepared, better experienced as well.
We'll see.
