I reality, Nix just hasn't lived up to his 5* billing yet and he's shown some poor fundamentals at times. He has a couple of years to change everyone's mind.

Out of the 12 QBs with enough attempts to qualify, Nix was 9th in Passer Rating. This isn't people unfairly expecting him to have a Jones-esque year, or even one on par with Trask and Corral; but when you're behind Vandy's QB?
Is the argument going to be that Nix had less talent around him than KEN SEALS?

He has only had 6 games throwing 8+ yds per attempt (3 ea per year), so it makes sense that he'd have a lower INT rate, no?
We'll find out more about him as a QB this year. Gus' offense hasn't historically stretched the field. He used the ground game and a mobile QB with a passing threat to build success in years with great line play.
Nix may very well be a really good QB; we'll have to wait and see.
