He came back because he was a projected second rounder. He had to improve his stock which he did. Hats off to him.

Figured this thread would turn into a shitfest but clearly this list is total numbers compiled in a career.

Not sure why this is news to you? Does anyone argue Chase had a better college career than Smith? Chase only played his freshman and ridiculously good sophomore year.

You have referred to Arik Gilbert as a quitter after he opted out for LSU's final two games but you apparently refer to Diggs as a quitter for sitting out Alabama's final game.

It seems the same standards don't apply for BAMA homers.

Still, in idiot mode I see. You seem to be really struggling for actual comparisons. Let me help.

Leonard Fournette sat out his bowl season, what you got? Gilbert didn't just quit on your football team Einstein, he quit the program for another SEC school.

What does it all mean? Jamar Chase is a quitter. He didn't want any part of the storm he saw coming. He obviously wasn't alone on the Bayou in that perception.

Saban converted him to a WR.

I believe booty suggested it to Dinardo.

Did it occur to you that Chase didn’t want to jeopardize millions of dollars by playing in a Covid season* and that his decision paid off?

DeVonta Smith might not be #1 all-time but he is certainly the most decorated receiver of all-time. The dude won just about every award and honor available to a WR in the college game.

Classic example of why physical attributes can only take you so far... Compared to folks who are genetic freaks like Arik Girlfriend, I mean Gilbert, Smitty dominated games akin to the Randy Moss's and Calvin Johnson's of the football world...

Thought that him ripping the hearts out of an entire legion of UGA fans, that it was perhaps a fluke...BOY was I wrong..

Has it ever occurred to you that Chase was much more likely thinking of a 5-5 season?

Marshall, on the other hand, was obviously thinking more about one particular Crimson azz-kicking going down in Baton Rouge the very next week when he declared "No Mas."

Must be in the swamp water.

The logic of bamameister

Players that quit on LSU or anyone else = quitters

Players that quit on BAMA = not quitters

Interesting

Interesting - always thought it was Saban who made the switch. But could be getting confused with Saban switching Spears from a TE to a DE

We're making progress. You didn't give one stupid, out-of-context comparison to the Jamar Chase "No Mas" moment this time.

Your statement was:

quote:

You don't come back to a place like ALABAMA for a senior season if you're inherently a quitter.

Your statement was then debunked by myself as Trevon Diggs did in fact return for his senior season and did in fact quit on BAMA.

Those are the facts, I'm sorry the facts don't agree with the false narrative you tried to push.

Should Trevon Diggs give back his All-America award he won his SENIOR year at BAMA?

I was alluding more to the fact that a lot of the top prospects sat out and some teams with the best players only played six games lol.

2019 LSU faced 41 SEC players in the 2020 NFL Draft

2020 Alabama faced 41 SEC players in the 2021 NFL Draft

No, he earned it before he actually quit on BAMA

And Jamar Chase still quit on the entire season. No one will ever unring that bell.
