You are a little obsessed with baton rouge huh? Gonna be funny when vitello chooses to come live in baton rouge over Knoxville...if we decide to even offer him the job.

An obsession is another fanbase for 3 months coveting the baseball coach at the University of Tennessee. You can't even count anymore how many total Vitello threads there have been on the Tiger Rant since we swept y'all. Who would have thought silly ole Tennessee baseball would have something LSU baseball wanted.

Whereas I have dedicated about 5 posts in my 9 years of having an account on this site to pointing out the basic fact of Baton Rouge being a dangerous, on-the-decline city. But let's pretend that saying Knoxville is safer than Baton Rouge is some ridiculous hot take.

While we are discussing this, does anyone remember the like 7th year sr. at LSU who was from Knoxville and during Thanksgiving or something killed his parents and tried to get rid of the body in the bathtub or some shite. frickin Knoxville man.

Not sure I'd be dogging Knoxville about a guy who went to LSU and killed his family.

All the people that work for me still seem to think that aswell. Also knoxville is pretty Democratic just like all major cities. They just got rid of the mask mandate about 2 weeks ago and the mayor was having cops go around to businesses and enforce it. I got told at a weigels i wasnt aloud to get gas there for no mask on so i said screw them and haven't been to knoxville since

I live in a far away land and flying back to Knoxville continuously throughout the pandemic really raised my appreciation of Two Doors Down in your 'hood for truly not giving a frick the moment they were able to reopen back around 12 months ago.

Still, in spite of the lifting of the mandate, I make it a habit to get an Uber out to Maryville just to hit up that bar.

If you watch the story, it is quite obvious he was a psycho long before coming to LSU. He was Knoxville born and raised baw. But to be honest, the Baton Rouge hate is comical. You are fallaciously trying to compare drug and rap beefs to campus related crime. I spent many a summer in Knox and the surrounding areas visiting family and have been all over the city as a teenager, there are definitely sketchy areas with the same sort of vibe and crimes as areas of BR. All in the name of #baseball. I guess by your logic its even more impressive that LSU owns the SEC all time in baseball titles, all while having to dodge bullets, right?

Am I missing something? How the hell are two parties feuding over which city is more violent. Who cares!!! There is competition to be played out on the field. The focus should be on that. And I hope both the winner and loser show more class than this thread.
And do not let the Progressives in the media turn us against one another in their constant race baiting.

Well they started it because unlike LSU, or many other SEC baseball programs, they have no other comparison to make regarding baseball. It is quite absurd.

They do have the body farm. Wonder how many LSU fans are under Neyland Stadium?

Not taking sides against you, MarTiger. But 92 of 95 counties in Tennessee voted against Obama twice and again against Biden, including Knox and Hamilton (Chattanooga) counties. And one of the 3 that voted the wrong way is a rural county.

Where is the closest Sonic to campus?

4515 Chapman Hwy

5722 Kingston Pike is only slightly farther away, but is West of Campus...and may actually be easier to get to.
