Deep down they feel guilty for having Saban as their coach. I mean, deep down they know that it's a little sad that a program of the magnitude of BAMA would have to pay as much as they did and they feel silly for the way he is treated (obsessed over)by their own fans. I say this because Bama fans have been sucking up to LSU fans as much and more than i've ever seen before in my life.A lot of them have been anyway. All kinds of compliments and attaboys from Bama fans that never used to give ANY props to LSU , cause they were BAMA and too good for us. What's changed? Bama hired Saban. They feel ashamed, hence the fake arse compliments of anything and everything LSU lately. Sooo, they keep tabs on LSU fans and what they say about Bama/Saban, so they can be on hand to defend against what we say at all times.

Yep, you're an idiot. Following your logic, isn't it a shame how far LSU has fallen, to pay what they pay to Miles now? Is it a pity what Stoops has conned out of Oklahoma? What about the depths Notre Dame has fell to pay that salary to Charlie Weiss? How sad is to see the depths the Yankees have fallen to pay that money to A Rod? Hell, what about the Dolphins paid Saban, a sign of how far they had fallen?

This is big time, & big money, sports brother. Try to keep up with the times.

And LSU isn't any different since they gave their coach a raise making more than Saban to make sure he stayed ? Only difference is you guys still are more OBSESSED over our coach 100 times more than yours.
There are NO Miles threads on the first 4 pages of the Tiger Rant yet there are 4-5 Saban threads that go 4-5 pages long on here and LSU fans keep over him.

My arrival here came about because I didn't like ANY of the Bama boards I normally visited (and still don't). There was too much sunshine pumping and polishing of future national Championship trophies. I went full-time to the CBS Sportsline board and posted there for quite a while. The focus there was too scattered though, since it was a national board, covering every topic under the sun. In a thread one day I mentioned that I wished I could find a very SEC-centric board, as I had visited the boards of several SEC schools but found them pretty barren, and not a lot of topics that I related to. The guy I was talking to, GeauxTiger, suggested this board to me, but warned that it would get ugly quickly since I was a Bama fan. That didn't phase me, so I lurked for a while. I joined and never went back to another board for posting reasons.

I'm came here looking for SEC-centric football talk. You guys talked about Bama. A LOT. So I decided to stick around. Blame yourself for me staying.

BTW, you'll notice I'm on the SEC Rant (best idea ever), not the Tiger Rant. So take those weak arse "why are you on our board" complaints back over there....

You see, this is what I was saying, you guys never thought we were worth your time, before. Even though you are wrong about us only now being worth a damn, your post further solidifies my opinion. 1 dollar over the highest paid coach which was Stoops at the time IF, read taht, IF he won the NC with LSU. Compare that to Bama and you've paid him about half a million PER WIN

Nicks outrageous salary is all up front, no need to win a NC or anything like that to be the highest paid... just show up in T-town and holla process, and he's paid.
