no. They're not considering only recruiting.

This is how one guy put it...

These are two programs that appear to be trending in different directions, and that swing should continue this fall...Texas A&M may easily finish as high as second place in the SEC West while it may just be a struggle for LSU to finish as high as third.

Trends require multiple data points. A single year does not make a trend. I guess if there were a couple in a row that STARTS to build a trend.

So 2020 is a good data point supporting a downward trend if supported by similar in 2021 or 2019. Since one hasn’t yet occurred, how did 2019 go?
