Why did he identify those guys? Was it a lack of being able to get other highly touted recruits?

Because he was at Boise. The fact of the matter is those guys went 2 and 3 in the draft. The only player that you can make an argument for him not being able to go after is Trevor Lawrence, who was the #1 player in the country.

I’ll take someone who has an eye for talent like that all day. Look at Geriner. He was way down the rankings when Harsin offered him and he’s already moving up the rankings and tearing it up at camps.
