Again Bama won National Championships before Saban in 6 different decades. They will win after he retires. Maybe not 6 in 12 years, but they will win.

LSU was irrelevant before Saban. Google your year by year record before Saban at LSU. Not impressive! Very few 10 win seasons at all! Hell even Shula, Dubose, and Frachione won 10 games at Bama. It is LSU that is much closer of going back to irrelevance.

However Saban is the Goat and he will more than likely never be duplicated!

You won one title from 1979-2010.

Even if that’s true, LSU has won a national title with a total imbecile in Les miles and O.

We may have been irrelevant, but times have changed. LSU is set up very very well.

It's hard to say what a college dynasty will look like going forward. We now have a playoff. Coach Saban didn't just hit the lotto when he decided to take his talents to Tuscaloosa he struck gold when a legitimate playoff finally arrived for the college game.

Now, this system is building super teams. Who knew? Players want rings and they are willing to travel to the same familiar places each year that afford them that once in a lifetime, unique experience.
