Derby City pizza my arse. Wicks, Impellizzeri's or Spinelli's for Louisville.

I don't know any good pizza places in the area that are elite. I guess Marco's pizza would be the one I would pick.
Marco's?
In Fayetteville, Damgoode is a pretty good choice. If you like thin crust, US Pizza. Marley's is a sleeper pick if you like more Chicago style.
Woodstone in the Mill District is the pricey one, with all the organic, froo-froo ingredients, but it's pretty good. Just expensive AF.
Great bar, though.

Marco's isn't bad for a chain but usually I would get a pizza from Sam's Club. Those pizzas have a bland look and so I add more ingredients. Onions, green bell peppers, black olives, sliced Roma tomatoes, pepperoni, mushrooms and shredded cheese.

I've honestly never had Marco's. How're things up in Piss Hill?
I attended a high school football game there in the fall and got called a "Farmington Fudgepacker" on my way out of the stadium. Well, not me....all of us.

Or to go and eating on the trail while visiting your fair town.

As far as chains I liked it better than Pizza Hut which isn't saying much. The Simple Simon's where I live has better deals such as a large supreme pizza and a calzone at around $20. They also have a buffet that offers dessert and cinnamon pizzas.
Now in the Avoca area, they do have a place called Choo Choo's. They got good pizza but I was impressed with the deluxe nachos they served. It feels like a bout two pounds of it. Here is the site.

When I was in high school. We used to order Marcos cheese bread. Which was a medium crust with cheese on it for $4 each. Would order 10-15 at a time. Marcos with a case of natty from the brew through next door was our highlights of HS

Horse$hit on the Tuscaloosa selection. DePalma's or Broadway would be the consensus pick of the locals but the best pizza is actually at Chuck's Fish. Wood-fired oven and fresh ingredients.
