See above. Godwin is making 400k a year at East Carolina. Bianco is making 1.2M a year. Offer Godwin 1M a year and he will say yes in a heartbeat.

This isn’t any other league though. He had a 10 year head start on the sec baseball arms race and he’s been left in the dust. Every other program in the sec outside of mizzou, bama, and kentucky has been to omaha as many times or more than him in the past 20 years.. and we have a top 5 national baseball budget top tier fan support and top tier facilities. No excuse.

Ten years ago, I would have agreed with you. However, Bianco has been here for 21 years and has led us to all of one CWS appearance, while having multiple early postseason exits. Kind of like Mark Richt at UGA, sometimes it is time for a change.
