I don’t think he's NBA material, but good luck to the kid.

Watford going to dominate the local Y well into his 70s after his NBA career.

He has been practicing that old man game for a long time.

He has a center's game and speed in a power forward's body.

I disagree. I think Will get a pretty good shot at the NBA. I mean yea he has a lot of work to do but I think he has a ton of potential

Dude could have stayed home, played for the team he grew up rooting for, and Won an SEC Championship....Instead he took the strong arse offer and won nothing, went 1-4 vs Alabama, and will be playing overseas or G-League.

He’s kinda lazy on the defensive end. Who can he guard in the nba 2 guards are to fast and small forwards are too big.

I can’t see how this can be more wrong. He is not an elite interior defender. Or perimeter for that matter. He plays low to the ground. He does not play with his back to the basket. He is not a dominant rebounder. In short, he does nothing a true center does.

I wish him the best, but will be surprised if he finds much success in the league unless he develops his inside or outside game to a level not demonstrated at LSU. He has certainly had brief flashes, but has not consistently displayed next level ability.

You're right and I really phrased my wording poorly. I really meant that he is slow and doesn't jump like a center but isn't 7 foot. IMO he just doesn't have the type of athleticism and explosion to play PF in the NBA. If he was 7 foot he could be a fantastic center.

Yeah, he could’ve stayed in the ncaa tournament a whole extra 1 game with the Gumps before an invariable nba career path

One less game that mattered than bama did. Some of you toothless cousin plunderers love to hate on this kid for choosing his own path. You’re no better than the LSU fans who melt when a La recruit goes to bama
