Little bro hasn't had a first round WR in 50 years. Nothing turned on me. Cam turned into a metrosexual bum who will be out the league in 3 years. Meanwhile, Bama is National Champs. Heisman winner. Swept the postseason awards. Made a run in the Big Dance.

Auburn isn't relevant in anything. Thanks for playing

You would think that Bama could produce a decent NFL QB in that same time period. You have AJ and Richard Todd. Didn’t Todd wear a one bar face mask. LOL.

And 300 pound idiots like you find their self-worth through a football team. Good job, chief. You're impressive. Lol

Terry Beasley in 1971. Round 1 and pick 19.
Just checked, you are correct.

Had a few come very close since then, Ace Wright was the 1st pick in round 2 (27th overall) in the 1990 draft, Lawyer Tillman was R2 pick 3 (31st overall) the year before, but since Tim Carter went mid-2nd Round in '02, Sammie Coates has been our only WR who was picked on the first day.

Still haven't had a first round WR in 50 years, and that trend looks to continue for the foreseeable future. Amazing.

And yet AU has still managed to whip Bama's arse more than they should with mediocre talent.....hmmm....I would say that speaks more to the failures of "Muh Daddy Saban" and Bama than it does AU.

As others have said:

Wonderful athlete with great catch radius.

However:
1. Zero team player.
2. Zero work ethic.
3. Zero desire to block.
4. Zero desire to improve all the little things that make would make him great (like footwork).

I cannot imagine him making more than 50 catches and 2 TD for his entire NFL career. He is a free agent type player right now.

I saw him play in high school a few times and I was surprised he made an immediate impact at Auburn. I thought he was a project. Admittedly, I think his QB situation in HS might’ve hurt production.

So I think he did get better in college but he may’ve not been a great team player who was willing to do things that helped others. I don’t know about that shite...I only know what I know about Auburn by what is on the television screen.
