4* Dual QB Braden Davis is set to commit this Friday 4/30... Carolina in the running against GT, Stanford, WVU.
I really like his measurables, though he could add some pounds in the weight room. But he's 6'5" which is a big bonus.
Currently ranked 186 nationally in the 247 composite and #5 for dual threat QBs.
Coach Satt is our recruiter for this kid, you think we land him?

Pretty damn good get for a staff as new as ours/team as sorry as we have been lately if we snag him. Signing day is a long way off though, hopefully we can play well enough to make it stick if he does commit to us.

Flip season has begun. Donovan Westmoreland, OLB from GA has flipped from UGA to Carolina. I'm sure the puppies will say 'he was told to look elsewhere to make room' but that's hardly any excuse this early on in the process for these guys.

Yeah its super weird considering there's an almost 30min youtube vid from dawg nation surrounding the topic of comparing this guy to khalil mack.

wow, that's aggressive.
not sure his current build would fare well playing on the line in our conference. hopefully he can grow some more and/or can play off the line. FWIW, there are no highlights of him playing coverage.

My opinion on Westmoreland is he'll play more like Darian Stewart Devonte Holloman and Antonio Brown more of a spur LB/S hybrid. He played safety till last year where he played OLb. He has the frame to put on weight but im not sure if he does he'll stay at the speed he is now

Sounds like that's good news for our 4-2-5 defense but I thought Georgia's concern was that he was going to grow into a ILB. Wouldn't that be to big to play the Spur?
