He did the exact same thing around the Miles/Miller situation. What he and Goodman did around all of that is flat out embarrassing.

It was worse than embarrassing - it was wicked.

some hog fans in the sec media thread in the sec forum have completely lost their minds that we are talking about winning 3 of 4 regular season titles.

"SEC REGULAR SEASON TITLES DON'T MATTER!"

Yea sure they don't.

Nate Oats tells me that Jarin Stevenson has been Alabama's most surprising player during the preseason and could allow the Crimson Tide to play a bigger lineup with Rylan Griffen at SG and Grant Nelson at SF.

Alabama's Mark Sears (groin) is OUT for this weekend's scrimmage against TCU and is questionable for the Crimson Tide's charity exhibition on October 29th against Wake Forest, per Nate Oats. Sears averaged 12.5 PPG last season.

Where Alabama basketball stands on the injury front:

Dioubate (knee) - semi-live in practice, should be ready by Game 1

Wague (foot) - not live yet, should be ready by Game 1

Sears (groin) - out for TCU, ques. for Wake Forest

Wrightsell (various) - available for TCU

Yeah we are losing Sunday if Sears is out. Will be a good thing tho. Lets us get a look at other guys handling the ball

I may be misremembering, but didn't we get absolutely blitzed by TCU in the secret scrimmage last season?

If Stevenson is basically Clowney 2.0 that would dramatically alter my opinion of what this team is capable of. Front court depth is the big question mark to me, so if Stevenson is a one and done type guy we're cooking.

If Nelson is half as good as Oats has hyped him up as I don't think a guard missing a game here or there will hurt us much. From the sound of it he's one of the best ball handlers on the team.

Disregarding decades of past results and somehow all logic, my expectations have soared.

There is no chance this team will hurt us this time.

I’m really excited to see some of the plays we run this year inbounding the ball.

Also think a big key for us this year defensively is we gotta force more turnovers

It might be the afterwork beers, but I have a really good feeling about this team. If they can protect the rim, or more likely, keep people from getting to the rim, I think it's going to be another great year.

I think we'll see less blocks, however, I think this team can be top 20 in steals. Similar to Oats' Buffalo teams

Awesome episode. I think this team has incredible potential. Nelson and Estrada are new pieces but they are veteran CBB players. That makes a big difference.

Stevenson looks like a clone of Clowney from behind with that no. 15. Excited to see how ready he is from the jump.

Parker will be a nice surprise imo. Length in general that we added will be big defensively.

This team might take some time to gel but if we can remain a solid defensive team and hit shots we’ll be fine.
