Freshman WR Demond Demas is the latest of many arrests from the TAMU football team. Thankfully, the arrest wasn't for Machete Murder or Armed Robbery this time, so that's a step in the right direction.

Does the State of Alabama have different laws?
Would make sense, considering you never hear about arrests/failed drug tests from the two major schools in the State of Alabama.
Kids bring stolen guns to the shooting range all the time and just because they were arrested with drugs, does NOT mean they were using them.

I care as much about a kid having less than 2 ounces of weed on them as I do about seeing him walking around with a 12 pack of Bud Heavies.

You can still get arrested for less than 2oz of weed? Thought that was decriminalized, I guess not in TX?

I don't care if the kid plays for Colorado School of Mines, getting arrested for having less than 2 ounces of weed on your person is ridiculous.
