I hope the first play from scrimmage is to a TE streaking down the hash mark

Can't remember the last time I was as excited for a practice interview as I am for Harsin's today.

Some notes shamelessly stolen from beat writers (specifically JFerg) on Twitter:

-Players mentioned as leaders: Bo Nix, Tank Bigsby, Owen Pappoe, Zakoby McClain, Tashawn Manning

-Players out/limited with injury: Brandon Council, Ze'Vian Capers, Shedrick Jackson, Marco Domio, Zion Puckett, Desmond Tindol, Ahmari Harvey

-All jobs are open, at least publicly

-Offense and defense will practice together on the same field--I thought this was interesting

-Pegues at 308 lbs

Some practice observations:

-Bo Nix looks about the same. I noticed a LOT of one-on-one coaching with Harsin when Nix wasn't in on a drill.

-Davis looks a little short.

-Never heard Loy's name mentioned, but lots of Trey Lindsey.

-First three WRs were generally Hudson, Canion, Ja'Varrius Johnson.

-Pegues and Frazier seemed to get a lot of reps with the 1s. They were often in together on 2 TE sets. Also saw Pegues as a fullback.

-Jaren Handy is loving life. Very energetic and vocal.

-I did see a lot of 3-4 from the defense.

-I-formation!

-Neat trick play where Nix gave to Tank, who threw it back to Nix, then Nix threw downfield to a receiver.

-You knew where Mason was immediately. His voice carries.
