I've lived coast to coast. Grew up in Alabama, but I also lived in Louisiana as a kid. I wouldn't say I have the highest opinions of either, but Louisiana is a whole other level of shithole. And Baton Rouge is right up there with the worst.

Maybe I'm just the kind of person who enjoys telling dumb people they are dumb.

Thinking that getting paid under the table is a knock on ones character is a bit much. Business is business.

He got paid.
Just not under the table.
Off campus room and cost of attendance net him about $2k per month.
Pell grant is another $500/month.
With the university covering food, etc.. he was clearing $2500/mo net with no food expenses if he didnt want to.
How much spending money did you have each month as a 22 year old?

2500 per month above the table is $120k over 4 years (although he probably wasnt in off campus housing as a freshman).

Are you forgetting that Chubb did not have a strong 2016 after a terrible injury in 2015? He wasnt going to be a high draft pick, so the accusation doesnt match the reality of the situation.

Exactly - who actually believes one of the best players Georgia has had in the last 20 years wasn’t getting paid.
Posted on 3/9/21 at 8:17 pm to diddlydawg7
Or maybe he was getting money and didn't need to go pro?

Makes one wonder how much Henry T and JJ peterson got to sign with that terrible vol program over much better places.

No one wanted JJ Peterson. It was a miracle he even got into school. Henry T got at least 50k that we know of.
