You do have some awesome hobbies I will admit.Nothing like archeology and history!

I keep honey bees and do a bit of gold prospecting as well. Actually upgraded my equipment 2 weeks ago from just a goldhog raptor flare highbanker to a 4 inch keene floating dredge when i went to Auburn Georgia about an hour sw of Athens and bought a nice used one. Complete with a hooka diving system. I realized i live in gold country in York county about 2 years back and have been after it ever since. As for bees we raise Russian and Italian. Caught a few wild swarms as well. I only have a few hives now but at one time had around 40. I'm blessed to have found an ancient Indian camp on my farm. I have an amazing collection of personal finds from there. Over a thousand pieces. My hobbies have been very pandemic friendly

Friend of mine that lives up the street has honeybee hives he imported from Italy ( the honey has a lighter taste) and I live right near the gold mine here in Ridgeway. Having Cherokee in my bloodline has always made anything Indian interesting but I prefer archeology from biblical times , or earlier, then to North American archeology.

Which honey do you prefer the Russian or Italian? I've never had the Russian but I really enjoy the honey I get from the Italian bees.
