2021-2022 National Champions with a win over Auburn in the Final Four?

I accept getting Retrievered this year as long as I get my thing the next year.

Let the history books repeat themselves!

Not sure you can really point to any fan base that had to go from that low to that high in the course of one year basically.

That 16 over a 1 seed might have been the biggest choke in sports history

But you can point to one who went from that high to that low in one year.

On top of the fact that the #16/1 loss was almost a capper on their reputation of a style of team that could not win in the tournament. It was like the bow on top.

And then the next year they just go out and throw the 500 lb guerilla off their backs.

Pretty unreal story.

Seeding this year will have the least affect on the Tournament in its history. It will make a difference in the first round, but after that any real advantage will only be for the Top 4 teams. In the past teams like Duke or UNC never had to leave NC to make it to the Final 4, now every team will be on the same level. Vegas will be the big winner under this new format because people will be betting based on seeding because of the lack of hard data to bet on.
