No, he isnt defenseless. And he didnt lead with the crown of the helmet.

I got hit harder than that by my coach at the goal line for dogging punishment wind sprints. It was 1979 though, a different time. I could get him fired and sue the school and win today. We just laughed about it in the locker room. Shameful times today.
