I have given my thoughts on the whole chase vs Smith debate and if you dont know I think smith is better. However Joe B is light years ahead of mac jones at this point.

I think cincy is picking at 5 and while they have a good core of wr what if they take Smith at 5? Would it be a good connection between the two? Frankly I think they could put up stupid numbers together.

Can LSU and Bama come together of this Duo?

Is the tackle situation that bad at cincy?

Smith would definitely make burrow look like the top qb at any level of play

Yeah. That’s why he was getting hit a record amount of times.

Their LT is a bust that never should have been a 1st rounder.

Bengals will go Oline. If Sewell gets selected then they’ll likely take Wyatt Davis

But if the selection is Chase or Smith for Burrow then they’ll go Chase.

Smith would be a downgrade from having Chase in 2019

Is penei sewel (sp?) Projected to be the first tackle of the board? Leatherwood would be a great tackle for Joe B

If Lawrence goes#1 and Fields #2 to Jets, then either Dolphins or Falcons will take the Oregon OT.

Would be interesting if it went: Lawrence, Fields, Smith, OT, Chase...setting up years of Tua-to-Smith and Burrow-to-Chase

Yeah but to me tua is pretty underwhelming....Joe B is light years ahead of him as well.

Absolutely, but the Bengals aren’t exactly known for their drafting prowess.

It’s looked good at times for a rookie this year, but the fact that the Dolphins kept pulling him out of games didn’t bode well as they realized in some of those games he was the problem, not the rest of the team.

In Burrow’s games it was clear he was willing and dragging a bad team along. No safety net required there.

The Bengals can get a good WR later in the draft. They need to draft the best olineman possible with their first pick

Think I’d go Sewell here as well...but if they go WR, I’d imagine they’d go Chase as Burrow is already very familiar with him and I’d imagine he’d have some input in that case...

As much as Chase or Smith would help, Joe needs OL help before he needs WR help. They need the best tackle they can get to protect his blind side; if they don't draft one they'll need to get the best free agent available and look to draft one next year.

You really think a second year QB has any input in the draft? Hell Aaron rodgers doesnt even get input as the packers took a fricking QB last year first round. They shouls have got him some help in the skill position area...jmo though

You better get an oline and it also needs to be addressed in free agency
Oline don't last long
You can find capable receivers later in draft, even someone like Michael Thomas was not a first rounder

If the Bengals decide to go WR there, they’d be crazy not to get input from their franchise QB concerning a stud receiver he threw to in college before deciding who to pick. Who else in that organization would know him better?
