It seems like everyone expects King to just be an instant upgrade which could happen. I’m curious to why everyone thinks Harris is so much up an upgrade. Is it just because he has played SEC ball?

We don’t think he’s necessarily an upgrade from Carson Green or Dan Moore, but he’s probably ready to handle the RT duties in ways that Blake Trainor is not.
As for King, I don’t think most is us expect an instant upgrade, but we do expect him to eventually be better than Mond.

I’m biased since I watched King in HS his junior year when they won state he was impressive. His injury and a young team was a shame his senior year.

I think Fisher's conservative offensive tendencies have more to do with Mond than with Fisher. King will definitely stretch the field if the play is there, but I also expect some more turnovers as well. Kid was coached to run this offense though, and I expect him to win the job simply because of how football smart he is
As far as Morris is concerned it's about adding experience into the OL. If we can play Morris and Green at the tackles, then plug in Matthews who is a JR, suddenly the OL looks a ton better as opposed to four "green" players. I think the OL will actually be pretty good because the backups are more "talented" though less experienced. We have some exceedingly talented guard types, including Foster who is definitely physically ready for the SEC

Our defense should be pretty damn good next year. Hopefully they carry the team until the offense catches up.

Deepest DL and deepest secondary we've assembled in a loooong time

I thought he was more productive than what this shows - 12th Man Profile.
Best of luck to him, but not a very big loss at all.

Not too sure where to put this, but Derrick Hunter is switching from the DL to OL. The 247 article said he lined up for extra points and field goals this past season.

Hunter could be awesome at OT. He’s fast for a big man, and this could be the best long-term position for him. Intriguing

Based on the last interview with him I'm not surprised. Is he still pursuing MMA?
