2nd half offense

Our second half offense has not been very productive. Not sure if its play calling or execution. We've been living off our 1st half points. Hopefully the staff have noticed that and can get it corrected.

I think we fall asleep sometimes in the third quarter. But this is also the best defense we have played. Not surprised they made some solid adjustments

It's called coasting/going conservative. In the only games that were close after halftime, 2nd half O was just fine.

I thought it was pretty clear that Bama was running a vanilla offense to get out of here with a win and no injuries.
We'll see next week.

I think that we went vanilla and against a good ND defense was part of it, but I still think that we're struggling a bit in the 2nd half. But it could be we are sand bagging. We'll see in the final.

Wrong. Body language was terrible on offense. Tempo sucked as well. We were not being conservative. We just just did not play well. Nothing wrong with just saying that.

It is called holding your self to a higher level. Even if it is conservative and vanilla, you can still want to execute. There were a couple of dropped passes and bad penalties that stalled drives.

Probably the best defense we’ve played since Georgia. We stopped tempo when we got up big.

If the TD was not called back for ND we would have only won by 10. If we were playing conservative then they cut it too close.
I think we're pretty evenly matched with Clemson, but I think that they have a edge with their zone defense. We have not had a good deep game other than LSU in the last few games.
We will need to play our best mistake free game to come out on top. You never know though because of matchups and how well we respond.
